Sr. Contributor, Engagement Management
Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Reports To: Manager or Director
Job Description
The Engagement Manager is responsible for the successful delivery
of large-scale client engagements and/or multiple smaller engagements
for a single client. Engagement Managers are often the primary client
contact as well as the team leader, which requires the ability to
effectively balance longer-term strategic issues with day-to-day
tactical project issues. The Engagement Manager has direct accountability
to the Engagement Leader, who has overall responsibility for the
client. Responsibilities include managing delivery team members,
developing and managing project/program schedules, scope and budgets
(including project P&Ls), managing resource allocation and utilization,
identifying and mitigating project/program risks, and providing
thought leadership and direction for clients.

and levers)

client decisions

Experience in internet development and/or software and system

Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role in a
web development firm, IT consulting firm, strategy consulting
firm, or agency environment; or equivalent transferable client-side
experience

Vertical industry experience (telecom, financial services,
healthcare, FMCG) strong preferred PMI certification a plus
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent graduate degree
preferred
